George     Delegans
                

George Delegans is an independent artist and a self-taught multi-instrumentalist.  George writes and mostly self-records all of his songs, in addition to playing every instrument on every track.

His musical style was shaped by many genres and decades of influences, from the bombastic powerhouse sounds of the mighty Led Zeppelin to the melodic arrangements of instrumental bands Chon and Intervals. Other major influences include The Allman Brothers, 311, Yes, Dance Gavin Dance, Pantera, and Anderson.Paak. His earliest memories are of classical music, as his mother was an opera singer and vocal coach.

It is George's vision to bring back the nasty, heavy blues sounds

of classic rocks' 1st generation (his father's influence),

with a modern and eclectic twist.

His goal is to someday bring listeners to an appreciation of styles of music

they otherwise might not have listened to.  

​

George believes we are all spiritual beings having a human experience. He believes music is a divine gift that comes from a higher place. His lyrics are often vulnerable and honest, and hopes that many will be inspired and able to relate to them on some level. George writes songs for every occasion. His music touches on being caught between the spiritual life and the materialistic day to day world, what's really important in life, living in the here and now, and overcoming addiction. And some songs that are just about kicking back

and having a good time!
